A simple post this week due to my being down with the third case of COVID in just over three months. The first case was the result of being in West Africa in October 2022, the second was from North Africa in November 2022, and the third was caught closer to home last week. I guess I’m headed for a world record.
A few weeks ago I was looking for a fixed-blade knife that I knew we had in our Gear Closet that serves as part of our Loadout Level 04 (Residence Survival) items. It took me quite a while to locate the extra pack of four fixed-blade knives that I had there. Whereas this part of our LL-04 was at one time quite organized, as we added more gear it became cluttered.
In order to bring some organization to this area, we decided to purchase some inexpensive plastic containers and label them. This not only helps us find things quickly when needed, but also helps us to know at a glance what we have and what may be lacking.
Organization is always a good thing, especially during a crisis or emergency. For more information on our recommended Loadout Levels, see our Quick Reference Cards by clicking here, and the Loadout Levels Section of the Panoplia.org Soft Skills and Tactics (SST) Course.
